Set in a quiet residential area just one kilometre from the popular town of Carvoeiro, this villa offers superior accommodation with its own tennis court and private pool. Its imposing Moorish style does full credit to its name of "Moorish summer palace" - Mouraria.
Casa Mouraria is built on two levels: the ground floor and above that, three separate towers, each with its own entrance reached by a flight of stairs. A lovely driveway leads to the main entrance of the villa. The spacious entrance hall opens into the drawing room with comfortable sofas around a fire place and TV set. There is a second sitting area looking out over the garden and the swimming pool. There is a card table with 4 chairs.
The adjoining dining room seats 14. This spectacular room has two folding walls, which connect the dining room to the large terrace with outdoor fire place. There is a fully fitted kitchen with all modern appliances. On the ground floor you will find the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and three double bedrooms, also with ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom opens onto the terrace. Further on this floor there is a guest lavatory and a storage/ironing room.
Above the master bedroom on the ground floor there is a tower with a second very large master bedroom with a beautiful ensuite bathroom and a private terrace. The other two towers also have a double bedroom, each with ensuite bathroom and terrace. The tower bedrooms offer maximum privacy. Each bedroom is decorated in a different colour and all are provided with a large ceiling fan as well as air conditioning. The drawing room opens onto the large, partly covered terrace.
Outside, the figure-eight-shaped, swimming pool (14 x 5m) is incorporated in the terrace and has a small paddling pool. Adjoining the terrace is the private tennis court. The delightful lawned garden has lots of palm trees. There is ample parking space.

The apartment consists of a sitting / bedroom with a double bed. There is also a kitchen, a shower and a toilet. Equiped with air conditioning, it might offer accommodation for an au pair, but it can also be used as an 8th bedroom. The apartment can be booked extra.
