From Belcarina there is an easy walk down to the Quinta da Saudade restaurant and bar (open from May to September), which serves a good selection of cold drinks and light meals and is an ideal setting for the lively barbecues that take place on Saturday evenings during high season.

The Quinta da Saudade is an exclusive development set among olive and orange groves situated in Vale de Parra, a mile from the nearest beach at Galé and 4 miles west of Albufeira.
